If you use a lot of heat transfer vinyl then you may want to get a heat press or easy press down the road but for today we will just focus on using an iron.
Next position the vinyl on the shirt with the vinyl facing down and the backing paper facing up.
Your best option is to not pre wash garments.

If you want to use heat transfer vinyl to customize your t shirts and other items but don t have the cash to invest in a heat press machine you can turn to your household iron to help you do the job.
Then slowly start to peel up your transfer tape at any corner.
